Water bills were mailed today, May 16. Bills are due on June 5 by 4:30 pm. A 10% penalty will be added for bills recieved after 4:30. Shut off is June 16, to avoid the $40 non-payment fee, bills must be received by 4:30 pm on June 13. Pay online 24/7 at georgetownil.net, or drop in the drop box. Windows are open M-F 8:30-4:30.

The Street and Alley employees are working on Julie marks to locate water/sewer lines for the utility work that is being completed. Connxxus is installing fiber optics under ground on city easement to bring fiber optic internet, phone, and tv to the City of Georgetown. Other companies will also be out marking electric and gas lines. This will be an ongoing project through the summer.
