Water bills were mailed today, April 17.  Bills are due on Monday, May 5 by 4:30 pm. A 10% penalty will be added for bills received after 4:30.  Shut off is May 13, to avoid the $40 non-payment fee bills must be received by 4:30 pm on May 12.  Pay online 24/7 at georgetownil.net, or drop in our drop box.  Windows are open Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30.

The Street and Alley employees are working on Julie marks to locate water/sewer lines for the utility work that is being completed.  Connxxus is installing fiber optics under ground on city easement to bring fiber optic internet, phone, and tv to the City of Georgetown.  Other companies will also be out marking electric and gas lines.  This will be an ongoing project through the summer.
