Georgetown Community Ladies Club

Established May 1957

The Georgetown Ladies Community Club (GLCC) is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs Illinois 18th District. They meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Senior Center at 7:00 pm. The GLCC is a community focused club emphasizing on our youth and giving back to our community.  They sponsor the Holiday Parade in December, the Town-wide rummages, Mrs. Claus Christmas Program, Senior Signs, Coat Drive, Summer Reading Program, Scholarship Program and more!  Please come to a meeting and get involved.

Golden Eagles is a charitable organization dedicated to helping

those in need. They accept donations of home-health medical

equipment and then lend it out to anyone in need in Georgetown.

Rainbow Girls

International Order of

the Rainbow for Girls

For girls aged 10 - 18. Rainbow gets girls ready for life!  The International

Order of the Rainbow for Girls helps teach girls leadership skills, public speaking,

value of charity to others through working service projects, make life long friends

Southern Vermilion County Cloverbuds

Third Sunday of October - May at 5 pm

 

The 4-H Cloverbud program is for youth ages 5-7, as of September 1.

The overall purpose of the 4-H Cloverbuds program is to foster the development of life skills that are essential for the cognitive, social, emotional and physical maturation of children by providing a unique educational opportunity. Each month the group will engage in activities to foster the skills previously mentioned.

Georgetown Ridge Farm Alumni Association

The GRF Alumni Association plans a dinner each year to honor the newest graduating class, along with the 25th & 50th year classes.

Georgetown Youth Sports Association

The GYSA organizes the summer t-ball, softball, & baseball program at the park.  They have leagues for all ages frm 4 - 18.  Sign ups are in February and March, with practices starting in May.
