Eastern IL Food Bank

The Eastern Illinois Food Bank will be set up in the parking lot of the First Church of Christ from 2:45 - 3:30 pm on June 27. Please visit eifoodbank.org for qualifications.
4th of July Fireworks

The city's 4th of July Fireworks will be on June 27.
City Council Meeting
Begins: 7/1/2025 - 7:00 pm
Ends: 7/1/2025
There will be a city council meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday, July 1 at the Georgetown City Hall. The public is welcome to attend. The agenda will be posted under the government tab and Meeting agendas, FY 2025-26. Meeting is moved up a week due to the Fair.
Georgetown Fair

Water Bill Due Date
Begins: 7/7/2025 - 8:00 am
Ends: 7/7/2025 - 4:30 pm
Water bills are due July 7, 2025. If you pay after June 5th there will be a 10% penalty added. Pay on our website or drop in the drop box 24/7. The drive up window and lobby are open Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Water Shut off
Begins: 7/14/2025 - 8:00 am
Ends: 7/14/2025 - 4:30 pm
Water Shut off day is July 14. You must pay your bill by 4:30 on Friday, July 11 to avoid the $40 Non Payment Fee. If you are paying after 4:30 on July 11, you MUST include the $40 NPF or your water will be shut off.
City Council Meeting
Begins: 7/21/2025 - 7:00 pm

There will be a city council meeting at 7 pm on Monday, July 21 at the Georgetown City Hall. The public is welcome to attend. The agenda will be posted under the government tab and meeting agenda, FY 2025-26.
