Upcoming Events

Water Shut off

Begins: 6/13/2024 - 8:00 am
Ends: 6/13/2024 - 4:30 pm

Water Shut off day is June 13.  You must pay your bill by 4:30 on Wednesday, June 12 to avoid the $40 Non Payment Fee.  If you are paying after 4:30 on June 12, you MUST include the $40 NPF or your water will be shut off.  

Regular City Council Meeting

Begins: 6/17/2024 - 7:00 pm
Ends: 6/17/2024 - 9:00 pm

There will be a regular council meeting at 7 pm on Monday, June 17, at the City hall.  The public is welcome.  You can find the agenda on the government tab under Meeting agendas & minutes.

Eastern IL Food Bank

Begins: 6/25/2024 - 2:45 pm
Ends: 6/25/2024 - 3:30 pm

The Eastern Illinois Food Bank will be set up in the parking lot of the First Church of Christ from 2:45 - 3:30 pm on June 25.  Please visit their website for qualifications.

Regular City Council Meeting

Begins: 7/1/2024 - 7:00 pm
Ends: 7/1/2024 - 9:00 pm

There will be a regular council meeting at 7 pm on July 1, at the Georgetown City Hall.  The public is welcome.  The Agenda can be found on the government tab under Meeting Agendas & Minutes.

Independence Day

Begins: 7/4/2024
Ends: 7/4/2024

The City Hall, Streets & Alley, and Water & Sewer Department will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in honor of Independence Day.

Water Bill Due Date

Begins: 7/5/2024 - 8:00 am
Ends: 7/5/2024 - 4:30 pm

Water bills are due July 5, 2024.  If you pay after June 5th there will be a 10% penalty added.  Pay on our website or drop in the drop box 24/7.  The drive up window and lobby are open Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
