City Council Meeting

There will be a city council meeting at 7 pm on Monday, May 18 at the Georgetown City Hall. The public is welcome to attend. The agenda will be posted under the government tab and meeting agenda, FY 2026-27.
Memorial Day
Begins: 5/25/2026
Ends: 5/25/2026
The City Hall, Streets & Alley, and Water & Sewer Department will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

Water Bill Due Date
Begins: 6/5/2026 - 8:00 am
Ends: 6/5/2026 - 4:30 pm
Water bills are due June 5, 2025. If you pay after June 5th there will be a 10% penalty added. Pay on our website at georgetownil.net or drop in the drop box 24/7. The drive up window and lobby are open Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

City of Georgetown Fireworks

The fireworks will be at the fairgrounds on Saturday, June 27th at dusk.
