Water Shut off
Begins: 10/15/2024 - 8:00 am
Ends: 10/15/2024 - 4:30 pm
Water Shut off day is October 15. You must pay your bill by 4:30 on Friday, October 11 to avoid the $40 Non Payment Fee. If you are paying after 4:30 on October 11, you MUST include the $40 NPF or your water will be shut off.
Regular City Council Meeting
Begins: 10/21/2024 - 7:00 pm
Ends: 10/21/2024 - 9:00 pm
There will be a regular council meeting at 7 pm on Monday, October 21, at the City hall. The public is welcome. You can find the agenda on the government tab under Meeting agendas & minutes.
Eastern IL Food Bank
Begins: 10/22/2024 - 2:45 pm
Ends: 10/22/2024 - 3:30 pm
The Eastern Illinois Food Bank will be set up in the parking lot of the First Church of Christ from 2:45 - 3:30 pm on October 22. Please visit eifoodbank.org for qualifications.
Regular City Council Meeting

Water Bill Due Date
Begins: 11/5/2024 - 8:00 am
Ends: 11/5/2024 - 4:30 pm
Water bills are due November 5, 2024. If you pay after November 5th there will be a 10% penalty added. Pay on our website or drop in the drop box 24/7. The drive up window and lobby are open Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Veteran's Day

The City Hall, Streets & Alley, and Water & Sewer Department will be closed on Monday, November 11 in honor of Veteran's Day.
Regular City Council Meeting

There will be a regular council meeting at 7 pm on Monday, November 18, at the Georgetown City Hall. The public is welcome. The agenda can be found under the governement tab and Meeting Agendas.
Thanksgiving

The City Hall, Streets & Alley, and Water & Sewer Department will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday November 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
