Eastern IL Food Bank

Begins: 12/24/2024 - 2:45 pm
Ends: 12/24/2024 - 3:30 pm

CANCELLED due to the Christmas Holiday.   The Eastern Illinois Food Bank will be set up in the parking lot of the First Church of Christ from 2:45 - 3:30 pm on December 24.  Please visit eifoodbank.org for qualifications.

Christmas

Begins: 12/24/2024
Ends: 12/25/2024

City Hall, Streets & Alley, and Water & Sewer Department will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas Holiday.  Merry Christmas!

New Year's Eve

Begins: 12/31/2024
Ends: 1/1/2025

The City Hall, Streets & Alley, and Water & Sewer Departments will be closed December 31 and January 1 in observance of New Years.

Water Bill Due Date

Begins: 1/6/2025 - 8:00 am
Ends: 1/6/2025 - 4:30 pm

Water bills are due January 6, 2025.  If you pay after January 6th there will be a 10% penalty added.  Pay on our website or drop in the drop box 24/7.  The drive up window and lobby are open Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.  

Regular City Council Meeting

Begins: 1/6/2025
Ends: 1/6/2025

There will be a regular council meeting at 7 pm on Monday, January 6, at the Georgetown City Hall.  The public is welcome.  The agenda will be posted under the Governement tab and Meeting Agenda & Minutes.

Water Shut off

Begins: 1/13/2025 - 8:00 am
Ends: 1/13/2025 - 4:30 pm

Water Shut off day is January 13.  You must pay your bill by 4:30 on Friday, January 10 to avoid the $40 Non Payment Fee.  If you are paying after 4:30 on January 10, you MUST include the $40 NPF or your water will be shut off.  

Regular City Council Meeting

Begins: 1/21/2025 - 7:00 pm
Ends: 1/21/2025 - 8:00 pm

There will be a regular Council Meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday, January 21st at the City Hall.  The public is welcome.  The agenda can be found on the government tab under meeting agendas & minutes.
